PER COURT :- It is informed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent Municipal Council that the proposal has already been tendered to the Collector for acquisition of the property. AGP for the State states that the proposal submitted by the Municipal Council has been returned back for complying with certain deficiencies.

Since the Municipal Corporation has already taken a decision to acquire the property, no interference is called for. It is made clear that, it would be open for the petitioners to take steps in accordance with law to protect their interest in regard to the property. The petition stands disposed of.
