By the order dated 15/12/2022 in Writ Petition No. 12415/2022, a direction was issued to the respondent/scrutiny committee to decide petitioner's tribe claim on or before 28/02/2023 and the petitioner's employment was directed to be protected till then. On failure of the committee to decide the proposal, the petitioner is once again before us.

Learned A.G.P., on instructions, submits that respondent No.2/scrutiny committee, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar would decide petitioner's proposal within a period of four weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/scrutiny committee to decide petitioner's tribe claim within a period of four weeks.

The petitioner shall not be terminated from the employment for his failure to produce his tribe validity certificate for a period of five weeks or till the committee decides his proposal finally, whichever is earlier.
