CORAM : S.V.GANGAPURWALA & K.L.WADANE, JJ.
DATED : 10th FEBRUARY, 2017 O R D E R :
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that last year the students of H.S.C. standard of the petitioner were attached to Jogeshwari Junior College, Palshi. The learned counsel submits that this year the students of the petitioner college are attached to Bharadi college which is situated in interior and there are no means of transportation available. The learned counsel submits that this year the petitioner is attached
to the center at Bharadi on the ground that the center of Jogeshwari has been cancelled. The learned counsel submits that under the orders of this Court, dated 2.2.2017 in Writ Petition NO. 873 of 2017, the said center is restored. The learned counsel submits that as the said order itself is set aside, there is no impediment to attach the petitioner's students to the center at Jogeshwari.
2.
Mrs. Mahajan, learned A.G.P. for respondent no.2/Board submits that last year the students of the petitioner college for H.S.C. examination were attached to Jogeshwari college on the request of the petitioner. Bharadi is not situated in interior and means of transportation are available. According to the learned counsel the arrangements are made for the petitioner's students at Bharadi. In fact, Palshi would be at a longer distance.
3.
We have considered the submissions. It is not disputed that last year the students of the petitioner college were attached to Jogeshwari Junior college, Palshi. This year, it appears that the petitioner's students were attached to center at Bharadi as the H.S.C. center of Jogeshwari junior college was cancelled. However, under orders of this Court dated 2.2.2017
in Writ Petition No. 873 of 2017 the said center is restored. It is also the policy of the Board that the center should not have isolated students of one college only. If the students of the petitioner college are attached to Jogeshwari Junior College, the said deficiency would also stand complied.
4.
Considering the above, we pass the following order. The respondent no.2 may attach the petitioner's school to the center at Jogeshwari Junior College, Palshi for H.S.C. examination scheduled from February, 2017.
Writ Petition accordingly disposed of. No costs. (K.L.WADANE, J.) (S.V.GANGAPURWALA, J.) dbm/wp1183.17
