The Petitioners are residents of village Rohila (Kh), Taluka Kannad. Their grievance is that a new Anganwadi, which is being constructed on private land, should not be permitted and the ongoing construction should be stopped.

The learned AGP submits that the Petitioners had tendered their complaint to the Public Works Department of the Zilla Parishad. A preliminary inquiry was conducted and each of the grievances of the Petitioners were dealt with in the report dated 12.10.2023.

The learned AGP further submits that a villager has

*2* 18wp1836o24 donated the said land by way of a Gift Deed, which is a registered document. In view of the same, the erstwhile land owner has given up all the rights and the land now stands on record of the Gram Panchayat. So also, the said construction is in progress infront of the old dilapidated existing building of the Anganwadi.

In view of the above, we do not find any reason to exercise our writ jurisdiction in this matter. This Writ Petition is, therefore, disposed off.
