PER COURT :- In spite of service of notice to petitioner, none appears. Matter relates to recording of mutation entries. It is well established principle that the revenue entries in themselves cannot form evidence of title or entitlement of any party in relation to the property and the entries are recorded for fiscal purposes. There is civil litigation pending between the parties and as such revenue entries can be corrected in accordance with determination of the rights of the parties by the Civil Court.
Keeping option of the petitioner to avail of remedies available in law, open after determination of the rights by the Civil Court, Writ petition is disposed of.
Rule is discharged.
No costs.
