Learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.P. are at ad idem that the petitioners are similarly situated as the petitioners in Writ Petition No. 1477/2019 decided under order dated 20th September, 2019. 2.

In light of above, we follow the same course. 3.

The respondents/ Social Welfare Officer shall consider the case of petitioners and being satisfied that the petitioners having worked in the tribal/naxalite area and satisfy the criteria laid down in the Government Resolution dated 06.08.2002, then the respondents/Social Welfare Officer shall award the benefit of the one step promotional/next higher promotional pay scale to the petitioners. The said exercise shall be done by the respondents/ Social Welfare Officer expeditiously and preferably

901&902 within a period of four (4) months from today and if the petitioners are found, eligible shall make the payment.
