We have heard Mr. Thorat, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.P.

The validation proceeding is pending at the stage of vigilance. The learned A.G.P., on instructions, submits that validation proceeding would be decided within six (06) weeks and if the petitioner cooperates and does not insist for the limitation period to file say to the vigilance report it can be decided within four weeks also. 3.

Mr. Thorat, the learned counsel submits that during the interregnum the respondents may be

2 wp 2329.20 directed to issue provisional appointment order to the petitioner.

Considering the scenario as existing today and the fact that the respondent committee is ready to decide the proceeding within four to six weeks to avoid any further complications, we pass the following order.

The committee shall decide the validation proceeding within four (04) weeks from the date the petitioner appears before the committee. The petitioner shall appear before respondent no. 3 - committee on 05.03.2020. Depending upon the decision taken by the committee, the respondents no. 1 and 2 shall consider the case of the petitioner for appointment.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
