We have heard Mr. Ashtekar, the learned counsel for petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1 and 2.

The petitioners have issued notice U/Sec. 127 of the Maharashtra Regional Town Planning Act on 22nd July, 2016. 3.

As per Sec. 127 of the M. R. T. P. Act, the notice period is two years as per the amendment introduced on 29.08.2015. 4.

In view of the above, the writ petition is premature. The petitioners can approach the Court after the lapse of the

2 wp 2567.17 statutory period enshrined U/Sec. 127 of the M. R. T. P. Act, if no steps are taken by respondents. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
