In these Public Interest Litigations, the petitioners have approached this Court showing enthusiasm to protect environment and to point out the damage caused to the environment. The petitioners have prayed for banning the excavation of the sand from the river bed. The petitioners have prayed for the other ancillary reliefs like taking disciplinary action against the erring Revenue Officers.

After hearing the learned Advocates for the petitioners and learned AGP, we find that because of subsequent guidelines issued by the Central Government and the State Government and the judgment given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and High Court regarding regulation of excavation of the sand from the river beds, the grievances made in the Public Interest Litigations are
( 3 ) not required to be examined in these Public Interest Litigations.

Hence, the Public Interest Litigations are disposed. In the circumstances, parties to bear their own costs.

The amount deposited in these Public Interest Litigations as per orders passed by this Court, along with interest on it, if any, shall be given to Day Care Center at High Court, Aurangabad.
