These appeals arise out of the common judgment and order passed by the Reference Court under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act.

I have heard the learned AGP for the State.

In fact, in such matters, the State should refrain from filing appeals. Enhanced amount of compensation in these appeals is Rs.600/-, Rs.5000/- and Rs.3280/-. Even cost for filing appeal would be more than the enhanced amount of compensation. 4.

The Reference Court has considered the situation of the property, market value and the sale instances. Considering the paltry enhancement granted by the 1/2
