This Petition has been filed only for the purpose of seeking direction to Respondent No.1 to issue a Notification as contemplated under Section 127(2) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966.

The learned AGP submits on instructions that the preparation of the Notification is under way and in a period of around two (02) weeks, the Notification would be published.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that the statement may be recorded and the Petition can be disposed off.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off.

We expect Respondent No.1 to issue the Notification as expeditiously as possible and preferably, on or before 10.10.2022 and the copy of the same shall be supplied to the Petitioners, on or before 21.10.2022. We make it clear that there would be no extension of time.
