Learned counsel for petitioner states that the proposal is submitted by the petitioner seeking rental compensation but no cognizance is taken of the same.

We have heard learned A.G.P. for all Respondents.

It seems the petitioner has sent the application seeking rental compensation by post. There is nothing on record to show that the same is received and pending with the SLAO. The petitioner may file fresh application with the SLAO, seeking rental compensation. On receipt of the said application, the SLAO shall decide it in accordance with law after hearing all parties concerned expeditiously, preferably within nine

(9) months from the date of receipt of the application, considering all the relevant aspects of the matter.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
