The application is filed for review of the order dated 10th January, 2017, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 12321/2016 (Trimbak Mohanrao Patil and another Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others). 3.

By the aforesaid order, this Court had held that no case was made out for giving directions to the State Government to expedite the representation of the petitioner, dated 15th September, 2016 and liberty was granted to the petitioner to make similar request to the Government.

The learned counsel for the petitioner/ applicant submitted that in similar cases i.e. Writ Petition No. 2145/2016 (Popat s/o Rama Shinde and another Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others) and many other proceedings, on 30th January, 2017, directed the respondents to decide the applications/ representations/proposals on their own merit and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of the said order.

It appears that the said order was passed subsequently though in the past, no such order was passed in the proceedings filed by the present petitioner.

In view of the above circumstances and that the other representations will be decided by the respondents, as directed by this court, we recall the order dated 10th January, 2017, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 12321/2016 and direct the respondents to see that the representation of the applicant/petitioner is also decided expeditiously and

ra41-2017 within a period of twelve weeks from today on its own merit and in accordance with law.
