The applicants are the original petitioners nos. 4 and 5 in writ petition no. 11457 of 2021.

By the order dated 08-09-2022, for the reasons recorded therein, the applicants were permitted to approach the respondent no. 2 within four weeks for considering its request for renewal of the registration as a Child Care Home under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000. The applicants are seeking time of four weeks to appear before the respondent no. 2. 3.

We have heard the learned advocate for the applicants - petitioners and the learned AGP who appears for all the respondents.

Since it is merely a matter of either re-registration or renewal, we extend the time for the present applicants i.e. petitioners nos. 4 and 5 to appear before the respondent no.2 within four weeks from today and expect the respondent no. 2 to consider it within 16 weeks from the date of their appearance.
