The claim of damages, pursuant to the extant policy that was prevalent for damage to the sugarcane crops due to faulty electrical lines of the respondent, is a subject matter. The incident had taken place way back in the year 2015, though the petitioner is pointing out some favourable report of the electrical inspector dated 14.12.2015 (Exhibit - 'G'), in our considered view, the claim is hopelessly time-barred. No writ under article 226 of the constitution can be issued.

The writ petition is dismissed.
