Delay of 2683 days has been caused in filing the present appeal by the State. Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents i.e. original claimants has strongly opposed for condonation of delay. In the alternative, learned Counsel has submitted that if the learned A.G.P. is prepared to argue the matter today itself on merits, the original claimants may not object for condonation of delay, and hearing the appeal on merits. Learned A.G.P. submitted that he is ready with the matter and will immediately argue the matter if the delay is condoned. In view of above, following order is passed:
