The post of Sarpanch of Grampanchayat, Sarasam (Bk), Tq. Himayatnagar, Dist. Nanded is reserved for ST Women. 2.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that for 20152020 the post of Sarpanch was reserved for SC (Women) and for 2000-2005 it was reserved for ST (Women) and at no material point of time the post of Sarpanch was reserved for SC. This time it ought to have been reserved for SC and not for ST (Women). 3.

The learned AGP submits that in the draw the said post was reserved for ST (Women).

The post of the Sarpanch for ST is reserved considering the population in descending order and after considering the ratio of population, the said post was reserved for ST and in the draw the post of Sarpanch in the said Grampanchayat is reserved for ST (Women), the petitioner was unfortunate in the draw. 5.

The elections are also over.
