Heard. Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that she is unable to establish contact with the petitioner. We perused the petition and annexures thereto. The case pertains to the demand of pension. The petitioner was retrenched after 14 years of service in the Customs Department. He was paid compensation on account of the retrenchment. At the time of filing of the petition, the petitioner was 80 years old. Due to passage of time, the petition is now infructuous. The writ petition stands disposed of. Rule discharged. No costs.
