Limited grievance is raised in the petition.

The petitioner is elected members of village Panchayat Kambholi, Tq. Karjat, Dist. Ahmednagar. It is submitted in the petition that initially one Rohini Gangarde was elected subsequently on her resignation the post of Sarpanch fell vacant. This fact was brought to the notice of the competent authorities.

Our attention was invited to the communication dated 03.07.2018. There is also a communication of the Block Development Officer to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar dated 10.11.2018 placed on record. The learned counsel for the petitioner then invited our attention to representation dated 25.10.2018. Copy of the same is placed on record at Exh.D. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that in spite of repeated request to the authorities and more particularly respondent No.2 who is duty bound to take appropriate steps for electing the post of Sarpanch and other four members in failing statutory duties is not paying heed to the representation.

This being a limited grievance, the petition is disposed of at the admission stage with direction to respondent No.2 the District Collector, Ahmednagar to decide the application /representation dated 25.10.2018 at the earliest and not later than 10 weeks from the order of this Court.

With this above direction, the petition is disposed of.
