PER COURT :- 1.
In First Appeal No.1674/2008, the SLAO has granted compensation of Rs.8970/- which is further enhanced by the Reference Court to Rs.60,000/- along with statutory component. 2.
In First Appeal No.1675/2008, the amount awarded by the SLAO of Rs.14,336/- for acquiring the land is enhanced by the Reference Court to Rs.76,800/-.

The amount being meagre, this Court would not entertain the appeals filed by the State and the appeals are accordingly dismissed. 4.
It is made clear that the appeal is not decided on merits and will have no bearing on other appeals where the quantum of compensation granted is large.
