We have heard Mr. Kharosekar, the counsel for the petitioners and the learned A.G.P. for the respondents/State. 2.

According to Mr. Kharosekar, the learned counsel for the petitioners, the impugned notice is bad-in-law and not in accordance with the provisions of Section 48 of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

According to the learned A.G.P., the impugned notice is only a show cause notice. The final orders are not yet passed. 4.

This Court, in normal course, would not entertain a petition directed against the show cause notice. The petitioners have opportunity to file reply to the show cause notice and if the final order of penalty is passed, the petitioners have liberty to assail the same before the appropriate forum in accordance with law and in that event, all contentions of the petitioners are kept open. 5.

With these aforesaid observations, Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
