This petition challenges a peculiar Rule, which prevented the petitioner and other similarly placed persons from making application for job of Shikshan Sevak in other Zilla Parishad once they are employed in one Zilla Parishad.

Learned counsel Shri Shelke for respondent no.2 stated that in the mean time the rule is no more in practice. The rule was made in the situation which arose in 2004, but the situation is now different.

The learned counsel for respondent nos.3 and 4 stated that if the petitioners want their original documents back, they can make separate application and the same would be considered as per rules. If the documents of the petitioners are still with respondent nos.3 or 4, the petitioners are at liberty to make application for return of documents and same will be considered as per rules.

In view of above, the petition is now infructuous and disposed of accordingly.
