Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioners are working as Group 'C' and 'D' employees in the Ashram School, and therefore, they are entitled for the benefit under Assured Career Progress Scheme (A.C.P.S.).

We have heard the learned A.G.P. The learned A.G.P. submits that the benefit of A.C.P.S. to the

2 WP 3402/17 employees of Group 'C' and 'D' of Ashram School is extended, if they are eligible for the same.

The respondent authorities shall examine individual cases of the petitioners for deciding whether they satisfy criteria laid down for extending benefit of A.C.P.S. to the Group C and D employees of aided Ashram Schools under G.R. dated 30.04.1998. The authorities shall consider the said scheme applicable to the persons of the non teaching staff of the aided Ashram Schools like the petitioners. In case the petitioners are found eligible to said benefits, the same shall be extended to them accordingly. The Writ Petition accordingly is disposed of. No costs. 5.

Leave to correct clause title with regard to petitioner No.9.
