Learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner would not press for challenge to the disqualification upholding the post of sarpanch but restrict the prayer soliciting direction to the committee for early decision of the proposal for validation of the tribe certificate.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 5 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the petitioner's proposal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within sixteen weeks.
