The learned A.G.P. has already caused an appearance on behalf of respondent Nos.3 and 4. 3.

We fnd that the controversy revolves around the claim of the petitioner that his land admeasuring 3 Hectares 95 Aar in Gut No. 342 has been utilized for a public project, without acquisition. Hence, a notice has been issued to respondent Nos.2, 3 and 4 on 16-12-2020 calling upon the

(2) 928 wp-4563.2021.odt said Authorities to initiate appropriate steps for acquisition. Till date, neither have the said respondents responded to the said notice, nor have any steps been initiated. 4.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 to respond to the notice dated 16-12-2020, on or before 30th June 2022, by taking a defnite stand. The response shall contain with reasons. Thereafter, if the grievance of the petitioner is not redressed, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail of a remedy as is permissible in law.
