On 27th of March, 2018, following order has been passed in the present matter:

"Even though the petitioners in Contempt Petition have taken circulation, none present for them. The Second Appeal is of the year 1998. Fix the Second Appeal for final hearing on 07.06.2018 along with the Contempt Petition."

Thus, the matter was directed to be listed for final hearing on 7th of June, 2018. From the aforesaid order it is revealed that though the contempt petition was circulated by the appellants, none of them remained present on 27th of March, 2018. On 7th of June, 2018 also none was present for the appellants. Following specific order was passed yesterday:

Even today none has appeared for the appellants. It appears that the appellants have lost interest in prosecuting their matter further. The Appeal, therefore, stands dismissed for want of prosecution. The Contempt Petition also does not survive and stands disposed of. All Civil Applications stand disposed of. ( P.R. BORA, J. ) ...
