The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section354, 354A, 354B and under Sections 3(i) (w)(i)(ii) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989 and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for five years and pay fine of Rs.3,000, in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for two months.

Perused the evidence of the victim. Considering the quantum of sentence imposed and the fact that the appeal is not likely to be heard in near future, the execution of substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended, pending the appeal. The applicant be released on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand ) with surety in the like amount.
