Mr. Gore, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since 1995, the post of Sarpanch of Grampanchayat Dhosani was never reserved for S.C. (women) category. The petitioner is elected as a member of the Grampanchayat Dhosani from S.C. (women) category.

We have heard the learned A.G.P. also

It appears that the election of Sarpanch is already held. The elected candidate is also not a party. Moreover, there is no data on record to show the descending order of the S.C. population of the various Grampanchayats in this Taluqa. In absence of the entire data, it is not possible to consider the case put forth by the petitioner. It is for the authorities to consider the objections raised by the petitioner. 4.

The Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
