These petitions can be disposed of by issuing

{2} wp225215.odt directions to Respondents No.3 and 4 and/or any other subordinate of the Collector to take decision on the application/s dated 08.04.2011, tendered by petitioners seeking redetermination of amount of compensation payable to them under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, in accordance with provisions of law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today; and it is accordingly directed. On redetermination of amount of compensation payable to the petitioners, Respondent No.5 - acquiring body shall pay the amount, so determined, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from such redetermination.

With the directions as above, writ petitions stand disposed of.
