Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that show cause notice was issued to the petitioner on 26th March, 2018, calling upon for the say on the vigilance report. The petitioner has not yet submitted say on the vigilance report. The petitioner ought to be diligent and cooperative in expeditious disposal of the proceeding. The petitioner cannot delay the matter and also seek protection from the Court. 2.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 24.02.2020 and fle say to the vigilance report. The Committee shall, thereafter, endeavour to decide the proceeding within three months. 3.

Till the validation proceeding is decided by the Committee, adverse actions hall not be taken against the petitioner only on the ground that his validation proceeding is pending. 4.

The employer may take further course of action depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
