The order suspending the petitioner is assailed. During the pendency of the proceedings, the charge-sheet in the Departmental proceedings has been filed.

As per Regulation 88(c) of the MSEDCL Employees Service Regulations 2005, if inquiry is not completed within six (6) months, the order of suspension is required to be reviewed. According to Mr.Mundhe, learned counsel for Respondent, in the present case the same is required to be reviewed by the Committee. 4.

The order of suspension is not yet reviewed even though

one and half year has lapsed then the same shall be referred for review to the concerned authority within two (2) weeks and the authority i.e. the Committee shall take decision upon the same within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of the proposal for review.

With this direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

It is made clear that we have not considered the contentions of either of the parties on merits. All contentions in that regard are kept open.
