By this Civil Application, the Applicant (Original Petitioner) is seeking a direction to Respondent No.2 to expeditiously process the pension proposal of the Applicant, which is forwarded by Respondent No.5.

The reply affidavit placed on record on behalf of Respondent No.2, shows that provisional pension of Rs.36,000/-

(( 2 )) 927-CA-2113-2025 per month was sanctioned on 09.08.2024 and proof of disbursal of such provisional pension at least on two occasions in September 2024, amounting to Rs.3,12,480/- and in March 2025, amounting to Rs.3,21,120/-, has been placed on record.

This shows that provisional pension is being disbursed to the Applicant.

In that light, the learned counsel for the Applicant, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this Application, but a prayer is made for expeditious disposal of the main Writ Petition, so that the entire controversy put to rest and the entitlement of regular pension of the Petitioner is decided at the earliest. 5.

The Civil Application is disposed of as withdrawn. 6.

The Respondent No.2 is directed to ensure that the provisional pension is disbursed before the fifth day of every month during the pendency of the Writ Petition.

It is further directed that, to put the entire controversy to rest, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for consideration and disposal.

In that light, place Writ Petition No.7990 of 2021 for final hearing/disposal on 11.09.2025, at 3.30 p.m.
