Heard.
2] Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the applicants, who are agriculturists, could not file the appeals within the prescribed period as, upon acquisition, they became landless and were stationed at various places for the work of sugarcane cutting.
3] In my view, sufficient reasons are made out for condonation of delay.
4] The applications are, therefore, allowed. Delay in filing the appeals is condoned, on the condition that the present applicants/appellants would not claim any statutory interest for the delayed period in case, any enhancement in the compensation is granted by this Court in the appeals.
