We have considered the submissions of the learned Advocates for the petitioner and the respondents.

The learned A.G.P. informs us that the complaint lodged by the petitioner is already been looked into by the District Supply Officer and proceedings have been initiated.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the representations were pending since January 2020 and even before that

2387.20wp (2) some representations were made. He prays that the proceedings initiated by the District Supply Officer may be completed within a time frame.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. Subject to the co-operation of all the parties before us and the COVID-19 restrictions, we expect respondent No.3 - District Supply Officer to conclude the proceedings, on or before 31/12/2021, by following the due procedure laid down.
