Pursuant to the provisions of Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, the parties to the proceedings have settled the matter and the prayer for compounding the offence is made. In view of the provisions of Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, the order of conviction of the Applicant/ accused pursuant to the consent given by the Respondent No.2/ original Complainant, stands set aside.
