Petitioner claims to be belonging to 'Mannervarlu' tribe which is included in Scheduled Tribe category. Caste certificate secured by petitioner is already referred to Scrutiny Committee for verification and, this Court has issued direction on 26.06.2015 to the Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the proposals within a period of one year. Petitioner apprehends that she would be debarred from appearing for the examination and the University may not accept examination form which is likely to be forwarded by respondent no. 2 - College.

In the circumstances, this petition stands disposed of with directions to respondent no. 2 to forward examination form pertaining to petitioner to respondent no. 3 - University and, respondent no. 3 - University is directed to permit petitioner to appear for the examination and declare her result,

wp1823.16.doc however, subject to decision in respect of validation of the caste certificate issued by the Scrutiny Committee.
