By this petition, the petitioner prays for a direction to the sole respondent to decide his pending application dated 26th August, 2020, within a stipulated period.

The learned Advocate representing the respondent submits that the said application would be dealt with and appropriate orders would be passed prior to 30th August, 2022, and the decision would be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off by recording the statement made by the respondent in the foregoing paragraph. Needless to state, the application of the petitioner shall be dealt with on or before 30th August, 2022. If the decision is adverse to the petitioner, the same shall contain reasons and, the copy of the order would be delivered to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.
