PER COURT :

Heard learned counsel for the parties. The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 307 of the Indian Penal code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 5 years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default to suffer simple imprisonment for 6 months. The appeal filed by the appellant has been admitted. 2.

Perused the impugned judgment and the related papers. The appeal filed by the appellant is not likely to be heard in near future. Therefore, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail pending the appeal. Hence the order :

ORDER

(i) The application is allowed.

(ii) Pending the appeal, the sentence imposed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Aurangabad in Sessions Case No.271/2015 is suspended and the applicant be released on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand) with one surety in the like amount.
