The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the post of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Ajanale, Tq. Dhule could not have been reserved for B.C.C. category. It was reserved for B.C.C. (Female) category for the year 2005-2010. This time by rotation the same ought not have been reserved for B.C.C. category. The petitioner belongs to S.T. category. 2.

We have also heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents/State and Mr. Kadethankar, the learned advocate for the respondent No. 1.

The said gram panchayat was reserved for general

2 wp 2810.21 category for the year 2001-2005 and for the year 2005-2010 it was reserved for B.C.C. (Female) category. By rotation the gram panchayat was reserved for S.T. (Female) category for the year 2015-2010. The same could not have been reserved for S.T. category for the year 2020-2025. The petitioner belongs to S. T. category.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
