PER COURT :- 1.

Under the State Government'

s Insurance Scheme for accidental death benefit, the petitioner'

s claim for grant of insurance cover to her deceased husband is rejected on September 24, 2019.

Husband of the petitioner expired on 20th February, 2006, whereas the claim was made by petitioner in the year 2019 i.e. almost after a period of 13 years. There is no exclusion for such a delayed period.

We do not see any convincing reason to entertain such a belated claim, particularly when the policy does not provide for such remedial measures. That being so, petition stands disposed off.
