The post of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Khadka, Tq. Ghansavangi is reserved for O.B.C. male.

Mr. Khande, the learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, said post ought to have been reserved for O.B.C. female. From 1995 for four times the post was reserved for male and it was not reserved for female. The rotation policy is not adhered to. In the year 2020 the draws were drawn. The said post was reserved for general female. As the rotation policy is not followed, the reservation deserves to be set aside. 3.

We have heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents/State and Mr. Kadethankar, the learned counsel

For the year 2015-2020 the post of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Khadka was reserved for S.C. (Female). As per the rotation policy it is reserved for O.B.C. The petitioner could not demonstrate as to how the rotation policy is flouted. Fifty per cent posts from O.B.C. (Female) have to be reserved for female. Said balance has been maintained. Thirteen posts for female have been reserved. The post of Sarpanch for the year 2015-2020 was reserved for S.C. Female. The elections for the post of sarpanch are over.

In the light of that, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
