Heard learned Counsel for respective parties. There is an opposition from petitioners - Village Panchayats for auction of the sand spots located within the boundaries of their villages.

Government Resolution dated 12th March, 2013, and more specifically Clause 17 provides for filing complaint to the Minister Level Committee constituted in pursuance of the Government Resolution dated 25th May, 2011.

It would be open for the petitioners to approach the Minister Level Committee for redressal of their grievance. If petitioners approach the Minister Level Committee within two weeks from today, the Minister Level Committee shall take

{5} appropriate decision on the complaint/s filed by petitioners, within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the complaint/s. Until decision of the Minister Level Committee, the letters of authorization for excavation of sand shall not be issued, although proceedings in respect of auction may continue. With the directions as above, writ petitions stand disposed of.
