Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Coram, appearances, Court's orders or directions and Registrar's orders.

Court's or Judge's orders Mr.N.B.Narwade, advocate for the petitioner absent. Ms.S.S.Raut, A.G.P. for the State.

CORAM : S.V.GANGAPURWALA AND K.L.WADANE,JJ.

Date : 20.10.2016.

PER COURT :

1.

On 15.9.2016, the matter was called out for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned in the interest of justice. Today also when the matter is called out for hearing, none appears for the petitioner. A.G.P. present. 2.

The petitioner was appointed as Hostel Superintendent by order dated 1.8.1963. The said appointment was for a period of nine (9) months i.e. from 1.8.2003 to 30.4.2004. Thereafter, the petitioner was terminated from service. The petitioner filed an appeal before the Divisional Social Welfare Officer. The said appeal is dismissed. Aggrieved thereby, the present petition. 3.

Learned A.G.P. states that the appointment of the petitioner

was for nine months only and on completion of nine months, the services of the petitioner stood terminated. The approval is also granted only for nine months. The appeal is also rightly decided. 4.

With the assistance of learned A.G.P., we have perused the order of appointment. The said order specifically states that the petitioner is appointed for a period 1.8.2003 to 30.4.2004 and approval was also granted only for nine months. At the end of the said period, the appointment of the petitioner axiomatically came to an end. The appellate authority has also considered the said fact. 5.

In light of the above, no case for interference is made out. The Writ Petition is dismissed. Rule discharged. No costs. (K.L.WADANE,J.) (S.V.GANGAPURWALA,J.) Dt.20.10.2016.
