By this petition, the petitioners have put forth prayer clause (20-B) and (20-C) as under :

"20-B] By issuing writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction in the nature of writ, direct respondents to pay compensation amount as per Consent Award dated 30.06.2018 of acquired land for construction of Percolation tank No. 3 (Gaurwadi) tal and Dist, Beed passed in file no 2016/LNQ/SR/03/2016. 20-C] To direct the respondent to pay interest of 9 percent on awarded amount for the first year after passing of award and @ 15% from then for the subsequent years till the actual payment is made."

We have considered the submissions of the learned Advocate for the petitioners and the learned A.G.P. on behalf of the respondents. There is no dispute that the Consent Award is delivered on 30/06/2018 and the petitioners are awaiting payment for more than three years.

In view of the above, this petition is partly allowed. 4.

Respondent Nos.1 to 4 shall ensure that the amounts as awarded under the Consent Award dated 30/06/2018 are paid to the petitioners on or before 31/03/2022 along with interest @ 9% p.a. payable from July 2018, for the first year after the delivery of the Consent Award and thereafter, @ 15% p.a. till the amount is actually paid, in view of the order dated 16/01/2019, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.7989/2018, filed by Khandu Aaba Tambe and others Vs. the State of Maharashtra and others.
