The learned counsel submits that the petitioner is due to retire at the end of February2021. The validation proceeding is pending since the year 2004 with the Scrutiny Committee. The vigilance is conducted. The petitioner has filed say to the vigilance report, but the proceeding is not yet decided.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondent nos.1 and 2.

Considering the contention of the petitioner that he has already filed say to the vigilance report and that he is due to retire by the end of February-2021, we pass the following order:

ORDER

A.The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 03.03.2021.

(2) 949-wp-3675-2021 B.The Committee shall endeavour to decide the said proceeding expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
