The applicant/appellant herein has been convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 353, 332 and 323 of Indian Penal Code (IPC). He has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months and simple imprisonment for one year under Sections 353 and 332 of I.P.C., respectively. No separate sentence has been awarded under Section 323 of I.P.C. 3.

Considering the quantum of sentence imposed and the fact that the appeal is not likely to come up for hearing in the near future, during pendency of the appeal, the substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended.

During pendency of the appeal, the applicant be released on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with one surety in the like amount. 5.
