2] Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition for the purpose of obtaining order in terms of prayer clause (B). He stated that this relief is already given to the similarly placed people in view of the judgment of this court in case of Vishwaprakash Laxman Sirsath and others Vs. State of Maharashtra and others, 2003(2) Mh. L.J. 176. He, however, asserted that his clients are entitled to the benefit of Career Advancement Scheme in view of the notification of the University Grants Commission on 4th November, 2008. The petitioner's case, according to him, would fall within the parameters of this notification. 3] Petitioner has not passed NET/SET examination but he has

This position is not denied by the respondents. 4] In view of this, the respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner for monetary benefits of Career Advancement Scheme, within a period of 3 months from today.
