The first appeal Nos. 1329 of 2018, 1328 of 2018, 1327 of 2018, 383 of 2012, 384 of 2012, 381 of 2012, 1324 of 2018, 1325 of 2018, 385 of 2012, 1321 of 2018, 1323 of 2018, 380 of 2012, 1326 of 2018, 387 of 2012, 379 of 2012, 382 of 2012 and 386 of 2012 are preferred either by the State of Maharashtra or the acquiring body, against the impugned judgments and awards, passed by the Reference Court at Ahmedpur, District Latur, in respective Land Acquisition References.

Perused the impugned judgments and awards. Heard learned A.G.P. and learned advocate appearing for acquiring body in the respective appeals. Learned A.G.P. and learned advocate appearing for acquiring body, in the respective appeals, fairly concede that the compensation awarded vide impugned judgments and awards, passed by the Reference Court, is within four times of

-10the rate awarded by the S.L.A.O.. In this respect, the Government has taken a decision not to prosecute the appeals which squarely falls in the category as explained in Government Resolution dated 03.11.2016 and subsequent corrigendum dated 23.02.2017. 3.

In view of above, the first appeal Nos. 1329 of 2018, 1328 of 2018, 1327 of 2018, 383 of 2012, 384 of 2012, 381 of 2012, 1324 of 2018, 1325 of 2018, 385 of 2012, 1321 of 2018, 1323 of 2018, 380 of 2012, 1326 of 2018, 387 of 2012, 379 of 2012, 382 of 2012 and 386 of 2012 are disposed of in tune with the aforesaid Government Resolution dated 03.11.2016 and subsequent corrigendum dated 23.02.2017. Civil applications, if any, pending in the aforesaid first appeals, preferred by the State or the acquiring body, are also disposed of.
