The petitioner has filed this contempt petition inter alia alleging the violation of the order dated 30.01.2017 passed by this Court directing the respondents to decide the applications/ representations/proposals of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and in any case within a period of 12 weeks from the date of said order. The petitioner has filed an application / representation dated 26.12.2012. The said application/representation is not yet decided by the respondent.

We accordingly direct the Collector, Aurangabad to 1/2

929-cp-176 OF 2020.odt decide the said application/representation filed by the petitioner within four weeks from today without fail and shall communicate the order that shall be passed to the petitioner within one week thereafter. The contempt petition is disposed off in the aforesaid terms.

Place the matter on board for reporting compliance on 27.04.2022.

It is made clear that if the contemnor does not comply with the order passed by this Court today and does not pass any order within the prescribed time, this Court will suo-moto issue the contempt notice against the contemnor.
