On 16.09.2022, we have passed the following order:- "1.
In all these matters, the directions set out below paragraph No.8 in the order dated 25/01/2019, passed in Writ Petition No.1954/2018 (Urmila Dattatrya Gaikwad and others Vs. State of Maharashtra and others) and connected matters, have not been complied with, though time was granted upto July 2019. It has been three years, that the orders have not been complied with. Notices in these matters have been issued on 04/03/2021. Yet there is no compliance.

In view of the above, the Chief Executive
*2* Officers of all the Zilla Parishads in these matters shall remain personally present in the Court on 22/09/2022 at 10.30 a.m."

The erstwhile Chief Executive Officer of the Aurangabad Zilla Parishad Dr.Mangesh Manohar Gondawale and the present Chief Executive Officer Shri Nilesh Ramesh Gatne, are present in the Court. The learned advocate for the Zilla Parishad tenders an unconditional apology.

The learned advocate appearing for the Zilla Parishad, has placed on record the decision dated 21.09.2022 arrived at by the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad and the Education Officer (Primary). The said decision (four pages) is taken on record and marked as "X-1" for identification.

In the light of X-1, the learned advocate for the Zilla Parishad submits, on instructions from the officers present in the Court, that within two weeks, the Education Department of the Zilla Parishad would complete the verification exercise as is expected to be done pursuant to the order dated 25.01.2019 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.1954/2018 and connected matters. Thereafter, the pay scales would be refixed
*3* and as per the new pay scales, the petitioners would receive their salaries for the month of October, 2022, payable in November, 2022 as per the revised pay scales. Insofar as the arrears are concerned, the learned advocate submits, on instructions, that the arrears would be paid to these petitioners by 31.01.2023. 5.
The learned advocate for the petitioners submits, on instructions, that the petitioners are satisfied and the contempt be treated as being purged.

In view of the above, this Contempt Petition stands disposed off.
